Developed in the 1920's as a weekend getaway destination for inland residents, Indian Rocks Beach is now a popular home to people of all ages. Although it's small in size, just under 1 sq. mile of land with about 4,000 residents, Indian Rocks Beach is a thriving beach community. The residents of Indian Rocks Beach include young families, empty nesters, northern snowbirds and active retirees.
